JOURNAL

Journaling is one of the most popular forms of self care. Why? Lots of people feel that writing in their journal or diary is therapeutic, much like letting off steam to their closest friend.

DRINK WATER

Stay hydrated! Your body does so much for you, and staying well hydrated helps your body stay fully actionable and active!

You can learn exactly how much water your body needs every day by:

1. Dividing your weight by 2 (2.2 if you want to be really technical)

2. Multiply the result by the number below that applies to your age range:

 • If you’re younger than 30, multiply by 40.

• If you’re 30–55 years old, multiply by 35.

• If you’re older than 55, multiply by 30.

3. Divide your result by 28.3. The answer is the estimated amount of water you require each day, in ounces.

NOTE: Depending on the weather and your daily activity, the final recommended number may change.

OR, use this calculator for the computer to do the work for you!

EXERCISE

I know. Probably not something that you want to hear. But just like building a business takes effort, so does staying healthy.

Moving every day to take care of your body is the best way to maintain a strong lifetime.

Running/Jogging/Walking

No matter the speed, running, jogging, and walking is still one of the greatest go-to exercises for athletes and non-athletes alike!

If you feel a little competitive, but still don’t feel quite ready to join an Iron Man race, you can sign up for a “virtual race” where you track your mileage progress, and earn a medal for your efforts!

This is only a taste of the possibilities! Use these to jog your interests and find what suits you. Remember, it only take a little bit of moving each day to get your body moving towards being happy and healthy.
